LSUWBB in 20-21. Average attendance was 300-500 fans

21-22, range from 4000 to 9,000.

22-23, range from 7000 to 10,000 (with 3 games over 13K)

I think we can get attendance up to a 10K to 13K range in 23-24.

When they renovate it, can they drop a court in the cow palace and have a throwback game to the Pistol era?

Might have to see if River Center is available to play some games

They would play at the Riv.. "Centroplex"

It can be configured for basketball. The Harlem Globetrotters just played there a couple of weeks ago

It would be pretty sweet to play a season there. Smaller venue, rectangular seating configuration. It would be loud as hell in there if LSU is good and people show up

I agree, but use statues outside around the building to honor the greats or whatever. Don’t name the building or the court after anybody.

Honestly, I think we're gonna have at least 7,000 season tickets sold for next season. So I would expect an average attendance of at least 10,000 per game.

Burn the court that has Brown's name on it. Mulkey is only worthy to have name on court.

All I know is that any renovation will:

1. Never be ready on time.
2. Be way over budget.
3. Look like shite.

Typical Louisiana way of construction.

Yuck

Ideally you’d love to build a new arena right where the PMAC is or where the track field is. Problems are tearing down the PMAC with Mike’s cage right there and also the basketball facilities that are connected to it.

Long over due and time to get a top of the line arena.

Yes, they did. The conceptual renderings were done in 2019. Hopefully, it's a new arena moving forward and not a renovation as the renderings show. Kim deserves a new arena for winning a NC in 2 years. PMAC needs to be demolished. Old...

No. Architecture firm will not be a shite firm from Louisiana.
Construction company will not be from Louisiana.
Louisiana construction companies are horrible. So are the Arch firms. Glad I left the state for greener pastures. Can't wait to work on this project.

I’d say remodel it. 18- 20k arenas are not the norm today. Make it an event people Have to be at, not that they can get cheap seats on the sidewalk.

Reference Auburn, baylor, and ole miss for capacity. Around 9,000 to 11,000 with Suite spaces.

The architectural firm that they got recently renovated Georgia Tech's arena which was very similar to the PMAC and it looks awesome now so I think that may be the blueprint for what they may try to do.
