One of the first things I noticed when I started watching the game was how much slower the women’s team looked from last year.
They are very sloppy with their passing and ball handling as well.
It’s easy to say “championship hangover… they need to buckle down and get to work.” But… that actually appears to be the case. Laying off the Little Debbie’s is probably a solid idea for a couple of them, too.

Again nobody bends over and accepts getting embarrassed and then makes excuses for pathetic efforts like LSU fans

Overall, the #1 thing is that this team plays very poor defense. The transition game going both ways is bad. Seem to lack speed and quickness. They don't blend together well and hopefully that gets better in time. FG shooting and FT shooting need work. Mulkey can't rest on her laurels and needs to figure it out with this group of supposed stars.

They’ll be fine. That’s the first team they’ve played, and they need to gel. Everyone learns their role when bullets really start flying.

They played a top 25 team that has a lot of returning starters and players. We are trying to meld together players who didn't play much last year, transfers, and a couple of prior year starters.

It just looked like a lot of players that haven’t played together much. Colorodo was also unconscious from 3. I wanna see what they look like by sec play. I think it will be much improved.
