For whatever reason, it's not that big a deal for me but it is always cool to see the traditional jerseys.

The kids don't want to go to class and get to bed at a reasonable time, but something tells me the coaches make them keep up with their classwork and enforce curfews.
It's up to the adults to teach the kids about traditions.

Yeah, if Baylor is wearing gold helmets it makes no sense for LSU to wear gold helmets, Nuss might have 5 picks

I was listening to Mascona on the way home while ago and he was about to do a segment on what forced LSU into this uniform combo. He said it was not player choice and when he came back from break all hell broke loose on the set because the Saints picked up Catlick High alum CEH and Mascona went on a happy tear. By that time I got home so maybe if he got back on track later somebody else can weigh in on it.

Maybe they don’t want to look like LSU because they are embarrassed to be playing Baylor in a crappy bowl game.

Baylor "forced" our hand by picking basically the same colors as our traditional uni's. Yes there is a difference, but they chose their yellow-gold instead of their metallic gold. Their "traditional uniform is on the right. Baylor has a bunch of combinations. I think Aranda pulled a Vandy on us and forced us out of our traditionals.

In a year full of uniform shenanigans suddenly we’re wearing purple jerseys because we’re the home team? (Last year was a choice) yeaaaaaa seems sus as frick unless we’ve been the away team for every previous bowl ever.
