Rachal ended being a 15ppg, 7rpg player at Tulsa and would’ve been a starter for Wade if he could’ve kept his nose clean here. Onwuasor was 5th in the nation in scoring the year before coming to LSU. They were both good players.

Outside if maybe Geert Hammink, I don't remember any player improving as much from his freshman year to his senior year.

Rachal was a true freshman who kept getting into trouble but when he was out there he was producing about 7ppg and 7rpg as a freshman when playing 20+ minutes. Randy took on and embraced a completely different role here, sacrificed his scoring and helped set the foundation for Wade. They both played pro ball for a couple years so of course they didn’t suck. When you see people describe them in such a callous way it’s because they’re not LSU fans and just want to troll the actual fans. Ignore it.
