Don’t forget Cecil the Diesel!

Never watched Charles Alexander and Wendell Davis, but there is zero chance they were as entertaining as watching Fournette head on send a man flying back like he did TAMU, Auburn, and Ole Miss. There's never been a full head on truck guy like Fournette at LSU. Hester did to Florida Major Wright, but that didn't feel like the same kind of open field accelerated, bug on 85 mph car windshield truck like Fournette did. I'd put Fournette as 3rd behind Honey Badger and Burrow.
On a scale of 1 to 100, I was a 100 after watching Fournette high school highlights. I've never been above a 70 for any other high school player tape that went to LSU if I'm giving Fournette a 100 all while other DBs were gaining on him during it. Problem with Fournette in the NFL was with how monstrous players are from elite muscle gain and speed programs (and maybe some juice), you just can't get away with what you did in high school and college unless you're 6'5 245 like Henry.
I remember 1 highlight in HS where Fournette was dragging a guy from behind him latched onto his waist at the 40 or 50. Even with that added weight slowing him down, he still head on trucked a safety and sent him back 5 yards even with another guy latched onto his waist. After he broke free of that mosh pit at the 50, he still ran it in for a TD despite being slowed down from the truck and guy holding on for dear life on his waist.

Jeremy Hill has got to be one of the most underrated players we have had. Dude seemed to break off a 50 yard TD every game.

During my life/fanhood:
Mathieu
Bowe
Michael Clayton
Early Doucet
Justin Vincent
PP7
Jai Eugene
Jeremy Hill
Joseph Addai
Trindon Holliday
Brandon Taylor
Skyler Green
Stingley
Burrow/Chase/Jefferson
Sam Montgomery
Keke Mingo
Danielle Hunter
Pat Queen
I'm sure there are more, but those immediately jump to mind.

I'd even add Jacob Hester. Not flashy at all but man it was fun watching him run through defenders.

Most instinctual player I've ever seen. Can't teach what he perfected.

I can’t believe Jarvis Landry hasn’t been mentioned yet. One of our best receivers ever and laid the mf wood on special teams. Also Ron Brooks made a ton of huge plays even as someone who was overshadowed by PP7, TM7 and Mo Claiborne.

I was just going to ask why nobody listed Landry!

Most Exciting To Watch LSU Football Players
I’m not saying The Best or My Favorite
You list Wendell Davis, I remember him well. I wouldn't call him exciting, as much as satisfying. He would run a route, he would be open, and he would catch the ball.... and it didn't really matter who was trying to cover him. Hell, he could probably have told the guy what his route was going to be, and he'd have still broke open. It was relaxing to watch.

Maybe a little bit of a recency bias but Malik in that one year was just all over the place

man i loved me a Tre White punt return
the dude would hit people with sincere physicality in the secondary as well
LF7 is an obvious pick and was criminally underutilized not catching more passes. the big one against ole miss in TS comes to mind.
JB9 was the greatest of all time
plenty more im missing but TM7 changed games. people talk about the INTs but he was an absolute monster at attacking the ball and making a play on it. i dont know what they are but his forced fumbles #s were something to marvel at

I do not understand the downvotes. My dad was a student when Billy was playing. He said the games were pretty exciting when he watched them.
