True, when he graduated high school he would not have been allowed to attend Ole Miss. In fairness, he wouldn't have been allowed to attend almost any non-black university.

As long as they are saying they’re Ole Miss, that is simply another way of saying Old Mississippi, which is just bad in every way.

Ole Missy still gets trolled about being a racist institution - what better way to counter that narrative than to have an old, well-known (and mostly well-loved) African-American actor on the show to wax poetically about "My, how the times have changed around here".

This is true. Same school who had to settle for Katy f'n Perry bc her band manager and/or the guy she was banging at the time went to Ole Piss
