This goes more in depth than I've seen in prior reporting. Really good story. Easy guy to root for, I'm glad he represents LSU and this team.

Like CJJ says "Dylan is a better person than he is a player and that's saying a lot"!!!

Dylan’s parents did a fine job raising him!

Cutting onions is highly overused phrase, but completely appropriate for this info. For me.

Dylan is a great person. All the best to Dylan and all the kids he has impacted.

I was friends with Robbie in high school, great guy, and I've loved following the story of Dylan and Aubrey's friendship.

This made me cry. Such a testament to Dylan's character, but also to Aubrey's!

It's sad that stories like this one don't get national attention. There are way too many "head line stories" about players getting DUI's, drugs, sexual abuse, etc. If I am not mistaken, Dylan turned in his scholarship & has been using his NIL money to go to classes, opening up another scholarship for another player. When fans start talking about retiring a number, this is what is more important than a player's stats or awards won.

That’s not true. But the selfless acts of kindness, in conjunction with the stats and awards, should lead to a jersey retirement

As a father of a special needs child that’s biggest joys in life are any thing LSU and The Eagles! We’ve taken him to several LSU football and baseball games and he loved them! We have always said the best invention on earth is YouTube. I can call home any time and ask my wife what my son is doing an her reply will be Guess! I all ways say watching LSU on YouTube! Thanks Crews for being one of the good guys!

Amazing ambassador for LSU. I could only wish I do my job correctly and raise a son as grounded as this young man.

Our son is a member of the Crews Krewe and we were able to take him to a baseball game both last year and this year. Enough can’t be said about the Crews family and their generosity. They easily could’ve kept those tickets for their family or friends to use, but instead they decided to share them with those who may not otherwise get a chance to experience something like that. There’s a reason Dylan was a member of the SEC Community Service Team two years in a row. Thank you very much to the Crews family for everything that you’ve done for our community.

<— Not David Wade. I just work there.

Every LSU baseball fan needs to stop and enjoy the moment and understand how lucky we were that Dylan crews decided to come to college. We will be lucky to ever see another baseball player like him again.

This. It’s because society today is more worried about influencers like Livvy instead of people like Dylan crews doing it the right way.

I have a good friend that works out with Crews’ hs baseball coach, they talk sports all of the time, he says the guy always talks more about how good of a person than how good of a baseball player he is

Reminds me the Sid and Les Miles story. One of the best.

Kills me watching this and having Les Miles completely disappear from this program. He truly was an amazing person outside the football field
