Speaking as an NC native, State would have been a better cultural fit for the SEC, but I doubt they would have left their rivalry with UNC behind.

ETA: The ACC teams view the conference power as coming from NC similar to how SEC teams see it coming from AL, which is a big reason why USCe left in the first place.

And why Georgia Tech left the SEC as well, Bobby Dodd was tired of Bear Bryant's BS.

Just here to remind everyone that West Virginia would have been a better addition.

Who will be SEC shortly.

Plus LSU vs A&M was a pretty intense rivalry back in the day. You don't have to like them or their fans but they are a good fit from geography & history standpoint.

Since admittance, Missouri has more SEC Championship appearances in football than LSU.

They also beat LSU two years ago.

They beat us in baseball the last time we played them in Columbia. It was miserable. Actually snowed before the Sunday game.

NC state

Is that the ultimate commuter school? It’s pretty big, yet, I don’t think I’ve EVER met one person who went there.

Hell, it’s intense now. We hate each other. I used to deny it but I now believe that the hate is equal. I think they’ve always hated us and we didn’t care until they finally beat us a few times now they’re on our radar. We hate them the way we hate Arkansas. Not the way that we hate Bama or Florida.

After getting broomed by Arkansas, you're going to post this?

They played Arky alot better than we did...

7-5
7-5
6-4

There isn't a series left on the schedule that LSU "likely" sweeps.

I just want to call this douche out for giving me shite about posting a picture of a broom on Thursday.

It has to suck for them knowing that they could have hired an alum in Vitello and could be enjoying the same kind of success that Tennessee is having.

Then again, they have very little support for the baseball program so Mizzou fans probably don’t care either way.
