Pretty much everyone has said “That sucks, we will just have to find someone else.” I haven’t seen a ton of people melting over it like Mizzou has been doing.

Exactly. I never got pissed about Denbrock leaving. I wish he would have stayed but he made a move closer to home. I totally understood the situation.

They really bought into the national narrative with the “fake accent” and shite like that. They’re gullible to the smear jobs from the CFB media that couldn’t believe he’d leave their vaunted Notre Dame.
There are good Mizzou fans. The ones whose families went there and have genuine fandom. But there are a lot of fan that went to Mizzou because they couldn’t afford or get into all the out of state schools their high school peers did and the bitterness and little-brother-ness pervades every aspect of their fandom.

The bottom line is if you switch LSU's season record and bowl with Mizzou's, then Mizzou would've still overachieved and LSU would still have looked at the season as a minor disappointment. I like Drink, the Mizzou program doesn't bother me because they don't feel like a Rival so I hope they do well, but they shouldn't do better than LSU, ever. In any sport.

They will tell you their basketball program is historically better than ours.
Their program lows are as bad as ours, but their highs aren’t anywhere near ours.

It’s amazing how fans can’t fathom why a coach would want to live in a familiar area. These guys aren’t robots. They think similar to everyone else, just make more money. The median distance that Americans live from their hometowns is 30 miles.

In reading threads, they appear to be one of the most confused fan bases in recorded history. A lot of mentions of “lateral move” and “stability” and “clearer path to HC”
We probably won’t see a Mizzou team that good for another 10-15 years but you’d think they were new big bro
