Because it’s the easiest thing to do to just blame the pitching coach. As a pitcher you either have it or you don’t. I’m not saying Yeskie is great or anything but he can’t help that half of his pitchers can’t hit their spots or throw strikes. LSU could hire the best pitching coach in America but even he can’t control whether a pitcher can throw strikes or not or whether the pitcher can hit his spot on a consistent basis.
