I don’t even know how these guys manage to throw strikes all fall in scrimmages. I mean they can’t handle coming in and throwing a single strike with huge leads. You can’t tell me it’s all nerves. Most of these guys should have had much more nerve racking moments competing for state championships than first few pitches with a huge lead.

I guess we need to just accept the bullpen will be unreliable at best and often horrific when neither Cowen nor Evans is pitching. No game is safe.
