This was released in the summer. Any update yet? The Tigers have the “early” designation, which is a kickoff between 11 a.m. and noon on the SEC Network, for their Oct. 17 game in Tiger Stadium against Mississippi State, the Southeastern Conference announced on Wednesday to complete its schedule times and options for the season.

It'll either be 11 or 11:45, depending on whether we get ABC, ESPN, or SECN. Guessing 11:00 on ESPN, but we'll find out very soon.

Exact times get announced on Mondays so it should be out sometime today. It's going to still be in an early slot obviously.

I mean yeah that's how it goes. Would rather it happen in this 2 game stretch than during our very intense November schedule. SEC has to give LSU some morning games or else the rest of the SEC will protest.

The game is @ Auburn. LSU's tradition of night games doesn't apply to ALL games. Just home games. Plus, even though Auburn has struggled to some degree this season, JHS can be a tough venue for a visiting team. Particularly at night. Personally, I have been to multiple night games between LSU and Auburn @ Auburn and I think JHS may be the most underrated venue in the SEC. LSU getting that game at 11:00 am should be a BENEFIT to LSU.

Sure, an a.m. start for a home game vs. MSU is not preferable. But if that is the only home day game this season (which seems likely given only games against Alabama and Texas remain after MSU) I can live with it.

It may help the team adjust to an early game on the road after an early game at home.

They're already crying about it on Twitter.

Correct.

We want road SEC games to be in the 11:00 AM slot. Kiffin has said this a few times, the 11:00 AM slot hurts the atmosphere and takes a potential benefit away from the home team.

While we will have to live with it for MSU, we would prefer the Auburn game at 11.

I’d be fine never having another morning kickoff in Tiger Stadium, but early road games are great if you aren’t going to the game.

I’m quite aware of the home night tradition. My point was the following week is at 11. Just pointing out back to back Bloody Mary games. That’s it.

I'd rather play in Jurdan Hare early rather than at night.

We struggle during the day time at Jordan Hare.

1-3 in our last 4 day games there and our one win was by a point. I’d rather play Auburn at night.

The older I get the more at peace I am for day games, but 11:00 at TS is still too early due to the parking situation, so I'd rather 2:30 - but.......
