It’ll be ugly. I’d be willing to put money on LSU and Alabama beating us by a cumulative 80 points.

quote:

Joe Burrow is currently 21-24 with 3 TDs against one of the top defenses in the country. Yes... he has as many incompletions as TDs. Next week will be bad

quote:

We won’t stop them, and they won’t punt until late in game if then. Score will be whatever they want it to be.

quote:

They just put up 42 on one of the best defenses in the country. I hope Eddie O doesn’t have a bone to pick with us, or they may score 55 in first quarter...

quote:

This. At one point last night in that game, LSU had 35 points scored on 34 offensive plays. Think about that. They are gaining more than a point per offensive play they run. Against Florida’s defense.

quote:

I grossly underestimated Ed Orgeron and Joe Burrow.

I thought it was funny when LSU had to “settle” for Coach O.

I’m an idiot. That guy is a perfect fit there. We should be so lucky to have such a perfect fit here.

Theyre in bad shape. The defense gets gashed, and their offense has looked really bad

Always a tough a game for the most part. I hope we blow it open early and rest starters.

Really hate to tell MSU but coach O and this LSU team owes them a royal arse kicking.
I’m sure LSU will be highly motivated.

I hope they’re as motivated as you are saying. This is the kind of trap game that caused fits for us in the past. This game is sandwiched between an emotional Florida game and an upcoming showdown with Auburn. This is the kind of game starters sit out to “get healthy “ and we usually are lackluster in all aspects of the game. We also have a 2:30 kickoff which takes the fans out the game. Tiger fans don’t like day games, leave early after sitting in the sun and probable heat. The offense will still put up enough points but it’s likely to be a little uglier and the defense will likely play more like first quarter Florida than fourth quarter Florida. I think we win but Georgia just knew they would beat a team very similar to State last weekend in South Carolina. I hope O can do as good a job as Saban in keeping this team’s attention. Learning how to handle success is one of the hardest parts of winning.

Mississippi State might keep it within 28 if they start stomping on people.

We just lost to a sun belt Tennessee program and had 3 points on them after 3Q after a BYE WEEK. Why would we have any confidence to beat Arkansas much less LSU?

Unless there are any more “coaches decisions” DNPs looming I’m pretty sure everyone will play. Maybe a couple of the more knicked up ones like Divinity and Lawrence will be limited. The way the DL rotation is now that we’re getting healthy we should be able to keep everyone pretty fresh. This was a big reason those guys didn’t completely wear down despite the insane amount of plays Florida ran

The game is in Starkville, so taking LSU fans out of an away day game isn’t a big deal. The MSU stadium will not likely be at it rockin’ best either. It’s not like they would have a big effect on the game anyway. Temp will be in the mid to upper 70s and likely cloudy. Of course you can’t ever sleep on another SEC team.
