re: Miller can't shoot, definitely can't play defense and he turns the ball over.

Check him out, his sweet 16 run games are on YouTube. Let me know what you think.
I'm checking now. I don't see how Woodward has the balls to cut bait now.

You do not know whether or not this would have continued into the season. He could have played amazing or he could have been bad. Yes I know he never played for Wade! That's why I'm saying that you can't say he was going to be good! You don't fricking know

Wade would've coached him up.

Sucks because I really liked CMM as a hire and he seems like a super nice guy.
I don't think anyone dislikes Coach Mc. But there's a difference between being a nice guy and good coach/fit. Regardless of what this board will tell you, there is no way fathomable that we don't want Coach Mc to succeed. I think we see the writing on the wall and a 7/8 year contract that is nonsense.

Yeah it's pretty crazy, that contract almost guarantees another 2-3 years of this madness.

I hope Woody has the balls to pull the plug next year if we get more of the same.

Woody has the balls the size of the donor paying for shite. I'll leave that there.

Good luck LSU Basketball.

don’t get the miller defense. You will shite on every other player but you will defend Adam to the death. I don’t get it

You don’t get it? Wade recruited Miller. They can’t get wades dick out of their mouths. Miller can’t do wrong.

Wade also told us Aundre Hyatt was a sharp shooter then I watched him repeatedly hit the side of the backboard on wide open 3 point attempts

Cam Hayes has been a liability on defense all year and was in this game also. Instead of playing good contain defense he tries to steal the ball and let's his man drive in for an easy basket. All of our guards did a poor job of fighting through screens, once again leading to easy layups for them. Wade's switching defense last year did a much better job although it had it's moments of weakness also when a mismatch occurred. I think that a switching defense would have worked better with this team since our small guards couldn't fight through those screens.

eFG% is a metric that "adjusts field goal percentage to account for the fact that three-point field goals count for three points while field goals only count for two points."
I'd rather just rely on his 2-point FG% and his 3-point FG%.

These advanced stats are hard to comprehend sometimes.

Remember just a couple games back against Mizzu how our guys kept losing the screener on a simple down screen off the ball? It’s coaching, defense is a team thing like you said.

Defense is mostly effort just like rebounding. But our guards are the least physical guards in the conference except for Hannibal who can't shoot. All of our guards are a liability on defense. They all get taken to the goal too easily. When Hayes gets posted up the guard simply dribbles and backs him up to the goal. Staying in front of the offensive player means nothing if you are constantly just backing up. Then he gets an easy shot at the goal and a foul. We do not have the physicality with our guards no matter how well you coach them. Sometimes size does matter. look at Hannibal with the rebounds. If that guy had a jump shot he could be an all american.

Part of that is the style we play. When you don’t pressure the ball the ball handler is allowed space to pickup momentum and effectively puts your guys on their heels to begin with. Second point I’ll add us that Hill and Justice Williams are by far our worst two defenders and those two had the lions share of minutes at point this season. Also those two are the absolute worst players I’ve ever seen at stopping transition and getting back on D. Watch any video on Hill and you’ll see him lost and out of position in transition D.

His game is not as bad as your grammar game. But I agree with you. It is TOO frustrating to watch sometimes.
