re: Miles or Orgeron: Who would you take?

Personally I’d take coach O. He made the adjustment to the offense that was needed from the old school I formation pwr football. He adopted into the spread. Which I wish the offense under him had more two tight end formations, some 10 personnel stuff with all the talent we had at receivers. Miles never adapted to that and we wasted a lot of talent with his awful offenses

This is the only correct response

Miles inherited a much better situation than Oregon. That said, I still think he's better in the long run and for stability.
Orgeron is a firecracker. He brings a quick jolt of spark, energy and life into the program, but is very short lived. He did bring us the best team of all-time, and I'll always be grateful for that.

Is a close second to 2019 for me bc after the 90's i never thought LSU would ever win a NT in my lifetime.

You have an irrational hatred for O in my opinion for arguably the BEST season in CFB history not to be your favorite year as a Tiger fan. Let the hate go man

There's nothing irrational in saying 0 is a fricking bum who got lucky in 2019. He has no fricking clue what made that happen. Sorry reality hurts your feelings so much. I'm an LSU fan, not a 0 fan.

O easily. Miles won his title with 2 losses. O’s best work is not possible for miles or any other coach to beat. O’s second best season was a great tiger football season as well. 4 top 10 wins and a BCS bowl victory.

He crowd sourced his offense and hired a guy that he didn’t even know what his offense was

Ed tanked the program and left the roster in a state of total shite. That’s a bigger sin than wasting talent

You're one of those guys who thought that us "O haters" didn't enjoy 2019, huh? You people are so odd, but hey, the fact that it's you and mcgrath speaks volumes.
Regardless, a lot of years are "favorite years" for me.

What is Ed’s career record without Joe Burrow?
Miles was able to build up one bottom dweller program and had long sustained success here. Ed proved he could do neither thing. There is no world where Ed is considered a better coach

It's also not possible for O to match again. Maybe that says something about his "work".

You love to say this. O is gone and I couldn't care less about him. The ones who are butthurt are the CLM loyalists who never got over the fact he was fired and replaced with O....even after it came out he wasn't the man of integrity all of his supporters used to always claim he was. People who don't know the man used to put him on a pedestal talking about how great a family man he was blah blah blah...he was a POS

I don’t want to ever have to watch a Miles run offense again. I’d take Orgeron with stipulations in the contract that would make it easy to get rid of him.

I couldn't give a frick about anything other than who wins more. In this hypothetical, Les is the obvious answer based on what he's done here. Les showed he could run the program. 0 got lucky for one year. It was an amazing year, but he was fired less than 2 years later. If that doesn't tell you all you need to know, I don't know that you'll eve get it.

Straight into the ground after 2011.
ETA
I'm not saying that O is better than Les, but to say that Les was that much better than O in the long run is a fallacy.

It is hard to believe anyone could have a favorite season other than the one where we arguably, by people who don't even support LSU, say was the greatest season of all time.
