Q - What did Crowton tell you about the last call?

Dude, do you want him to run out and cry? He's got to go forward. No matter what he does many fans will cry.

Disconnect between you and fan base. You won game by "blind luck" People go to coaches show and you don't answer questions.
Was that a question
I just pissed myself

By looks of it, Les was pissed off with someone after the conference, think he tried to get someone kicked out

did I just hear him say
"when I heard that I couldn't hear"

Probably the guy who asked him the question about the disconnect between him and the fanbase.

I'll just type as it happens...
"I understand responsibility is mine...
issue is trying to use too much time...
the uh... the uh...
the good news is the opponents ran 3 guys on and moved 3 off, then those 3 that left, 2 of which returned... and with the extra opportunity we run a play for victory.
that's my responsibility. it was the WANT to use the down and not give up that down and distance.
the reality of it is "clockage".
we will do that better.
5-0 in my opinion we have improved. we used 2 QBs, we did some good things, we can't turn the ball over, we can't be penalized. if we eliminate those mistakes, and use positives of what the QBs did, opportunity is there to imrpove.
defense playing well... dominant defense.
ridley is sec player of week on offense. giving us good cuts, deceptive runner, powerful runner, running with ball security.
florida is very talented. we watched the alabama game. 2 very talented teams competing. in the red zone a number of times and did not score. statistical differences are based on turnovers and not yards gained. we recognize they are getting better on offense. brantley is a good QB, trey burton in the wildcat is a nice addition, jeff demps speed, talented offensive group.
defense gave up 273 yards to bama, 17 pts a game, we recognize great speed, lead conference in INTs, great challenge to us.
the thing we want our team to do is go on the road and play just the way we play. make the plays we are capable of making, we'll be successful.
now questions...
Q: can't hear it
A: before the series, there is conversation that would involve me, during the series, that's the playcaller. certain plays speak to jefferson, certain plays speak to lee.
Q: juan kincaid asking about mistakes being repeated, gets cut off mid-question
A: it's a clock management issue without question, but it's not the same. NOT the mistake made at Ole Miss. also dealt with clock management here, but not the same. the question will be made very well.
Juan: why such a disconnect between sideline and QB and should JJ have made the decision himself to clock it?
A: would've been easy for us to signal "clock it" the issue was trying to facilitate the call and get it in. the clock it call was the best call at that time and it would've gone in the order we had it in anyway. we would've used the play we ended up using. we like the calls that we made and we did want to move in and out with QBs... (goes off on tangent not related to question)
Q: coach, next time coach management issue comes up, will you be quicker to suggest something to Gary.. you criticized Gary...
A: Ultimately it's my responsibility. I don't in any way need to say who's responsibile. the thing that would've needed to be said was "clock it". as soon as without timeouts, you know the only way you can stop the clock, is clock it. that discussion should've taken place.
Q: It seems to be a pretty popular opinion that you have a wealth of talent, but the coaching staff is getting in the team's way. Are you overthinking this thing? Are there too many different philosophies, Gary with his multiple sets, you with your running philosophy?
A: (mentions stats) have to think some things accomplished. issue is to eliminate mistakes.
Q: Talk about what the process is for playcall...
A: Personnel you want in the game, after that it's the play. First call is personnel, because you may not have time after that. Call then signaled to QB.
Q: With Jordan not managing the game in Ole Miss last year, did you want to put JL in?
A: We liked the calls we had with JJ in the game, but the opportuntities we had rested with him on the field.
Q: can you talk about performance of TEs this season... mitch joseph... deangelo..
A: TEs are making great contribution. Mitch Joseph came through with Deangelo out. we miss mitch now. don't know that we won't have him for UF, we think we might.
Q: How challenging is it offensively to make sure it's not predictable with 2 QB system?
A: both guys can throw. predictability is not the issue. competitive advantage in both instances.
Q: who will play this saturday at QB? also.. mean things, poking fun at you, at what point does that affect your effectiveness in leading? how does that affect players?
A: What was the first question? (sarcastically, snide, obviously pissed at the second question...)
Both will play at UF like they did against UT. I can't comment on what speculation is in the perimeter. I don't operate that way. I criticize and critique everything that goes on in those games from player to coach. We're working on the corrections and they are ones that can be corrected.

He is full of crap. He just said that the running play was already called , then he says he called it. I wonder how Crowton feels about this clown throwing him under the bus.

My opinion is the undertone was there that GC isn't doing what Les wants. That's either to save himself or it's legit.

Who was that, that just went to go speak to Miles about the headset?
