The Koch brothers arent letting Marshall get away easily but it would be interesting to see what he could do with LSU talent.
Reath is getting fewer touches with Victor in there. That is bad for the offense.
Any updates on the Hickey suspension? and JOB injury?

Not easy to get tiger basketball news, hopefully with Coach JJ the pride will be back!
Any word on why Hickey and Hammink were held out?

Not a lot of info, but at least some word on the secret scrimmage.

This is a "secret" scrimmage against RICE. Stupid NCAA keeps them from discussing. Andy Katz wrote up but no mention of LSU.

Basketball is ignored on the rant, but there's a few of us who care here.

I also posted it on here because a lot of the 2012 "recruits" will be be getting big minutes. Just wanted a little update from the locals. Dont get any LSU basketball updates in Denver. Great stuff
Not to sound like broken record, but Odoh will not play this season even though he is slated to start school in the spring. Correct?

Hickey, Collins

Completely forgot about Collins. Any word on how he looks?

Hickey and Stringer will not be on the floor at the same time much once Conference season rolls around. Hickey is a great opportunistic defender and does a good job on ball but with the size of SEC SGs you will see carmouche playing point and guarding the SG for the second team while stringer plays the SG offensively.
I read the below article about Hammink who seems to be progressing well. Sounds like Coleman, Morgan, and Hammink will all get big minutes this season. Anyone have an idea of what the projected starting lineup will be?

PG- Hickey (Lock)
SG- Carmouche/Morgan
SF- Hammink/Morgan
PF- Coleman/Courtney/Ludwig
PF- JOB III (Lock)

Has anyone been able to find any other information on Johns? Everything seems pretty old on him.

Found this video of the Reebok Challenge All star game that he made in July 2012. Big time 4 and 5 star recruits that he is playing against . Doesnt look to be in that class but it is hard for a big man to show much in an all star game like this. ***once one video ends, the next quarters video starts.

We are going to have to play a lot like Mizzou last season. Hopefully some of these young guys can shoot. And JOB better be in the best shape of his life.
Is there any chance of a 2nd Semester Odoh addition at this point. I know that was a possibility.
I have to think that Johnny Jones signed Collins because he does not want his backup PG to be Stringer. Stringer is a more natural at the 2. I like that Johnny is trying to win this season, he easily could have focused on next years great group of recruits in LA.

Odoh is coming, and after seeing his block and rebound numbers I think he will be a perfect compiment to JOB.
LSU ranked 13 out of 14 in the SEC. Johnny Jones did a good job given the situation. Still optimistic for this season, especially if Odoh gets eligible.

He went to Scotlandville and had committed to ULL originally before his senior season. He committed to New Mexico today ( a team I follow), I just wanted to know what the Lobos are getting in him. He visited Tulsa and Utep also so I figured he couldnt be that bad.

Yeah, pretty sure this was all of our quote in reality. That press conference and his recruiting so far have changed a lot of minds.
