You act like Saban's program is so far ahead of LSU's. If not for ESPN financial investment in SEC there is never an all SEC title game on 1/9/2012 and Les gets second NC.

If we make one play and get first down last year against Bama we beat Bama, then Ga in SEC championship and then ND and have back to back NC's.

We never actually finish the job.

Is it razor thin this year?

You pro miles people are puppets. Use your brain. He is a chump! He couldn't beat a far inferior opponent. Mack Brown is far far better

You might want to pay more attention to who you direct your comments to.

Somethings amiss. Can't put my finger on it but LSU was embarrassed by Ole Miss yesterday. Think about that.

Every year (except 2011) the team starts strong and begins to crack mid season. Maybe it's competition (we can't say that this year) or maybe the staff isn't getting guys ready for games. I don't know. Something is wrong.

What about TM7, Trindon Holiday and Copelandz that no big school wanted? So they agree? Some of you are really blowing this out of proportion. Losing sucks, I get it..but let's be reasonable here.

So as the Rant continues Rant, does Saban have to concern himself with Eastern Division foes like UGA and Fla and then the West Division; no, he deals with Tenn and Kentucky...All teams come out flat from time to time, including Bama...unfortunately our schedule lines up where we have little to no room for error..is coaching to blame for ALL upsets from yesterday or just LSU??

I feel so much better since you explained it that way.

Those are similar excuses that I used when Alydar came in second to Affirmed in each of the triple crown races. Alabama and Affirmed were obviously better.

Well...if everyone except him is top notch....then maybe he is the problem?

People leaving for the draft early is not his fault. Recruiting 5 star players is always a double edged sword that way.

How come Bama doesn't lose waves of players early to the draft every year? Not trying t be a smart arse - does anybody have a good answer?

If that had happened, nobody would be bitching and Miles would have purged the ghost of Saban.

However, Miles totally choked when he had both of those chances against Saban. Just one ring in either of those years and everybody would be content.

All those Juniors that left after last season knew it was a waste coming back for their senior years. If the coaching staff had let them down both their So and Jr seasons, why stay for a 3rd year of let down.

All of them were not about the $$ - look at Chris Faulk especially should have stayed and we need OL bad.

Yes - the difference is razor thin which is why somebody disciplined, detailed and organized like Saban won the last 2 times against Miles.

He is supposed to recruit back ups that are actually as good as the starters, that used to happen here. It happens at fricking Bama not here anymore.

When did this happen here? Remind us. The 2002 team was nothing but backups on offense. How did we do?

Cheers to that! I just sent in my résumé to join a board to fix the national debt. My header was "I'll do what I can".

Have to wait until year is over but two 3 point losses on road with rebuilt defense is pretty thin.

Your POV is spot on. The difference in winning and losing is sometimes razor thin. All things being equal the more disciplined opponent wins. Some are so keen on defending Les they refuse to live in reality. They should remember his idol Bo was a perennial under performer. I hate Alabama and I have no interest in continuing to play second fiddle to them but Miles' actions threaten to make us even less relevant.

Our defense sucks and Mett made stupid mistakes. That's it.

If we gave Hill 25+ carries, we probably would be 7-1 right now.

It's time for a change at DC, the scheme is just not working.
