It really was a pleasure. I'm so glad they have national championship rings to help forget this horrible season.
Curiel will be a top 10 or so pick. He won't get a statue or his number retired, but he is among the best of the best to ever play here.
Milam was solid from start to finish and a much better shortstop than I thought he'd be.
I'll miss watching these two play ball for the Tigers.

Idk if Milam moves on, if he goes 5th or 6th round if verge fixes the money I can see us matching that… and to the comment about his mom posting left and right about him moving on all I’ve seen her say is the uncertainty of what’s to come with either leaving or staying is a whirlwind or something along those lines

No doubt but we don’t need anymore .230 hitters in our lineups.
.230 hitter tho.

LSU needs more players like him, he’s an all around good human & gives 110% to his team
He is the type of guy who you just have to admire - wish him the best in his future = great guy.

This is one of the most retarded takes I've ever seen on here. The only reason I can think of you don't like him is because he's black. It can't be anything baseball related, because he was one of our best hitters last year and played a solid CF last year.
He was hurt this year so can't really say too much about this year besides the fact he constantly put his body on the line trying to help this team win. He got hurt the 2nd game of the season, then after he came back, got injured again. Both times he was putting his body on the line.
On top of that, he has been an outstanding member of the community.
You not liking Stanfield really just shows how big of a piece of shite you are. Kindly, go frick yourself.
The world needs less bitches like you and more people like Stanfield in it.

Agree he needs to go as far away as possible

Stanny is an amazing human, it has given me hope for this generation watching him here at LSU. Could not love the kid more.
With that being said, I do not know how far he can take his baseball career after this. Even without injury he struggled to be competitive at this level consistently.

It amazes me to watch "fans" shite on a player that had the key hits in not one, not two, but THREE CWS games last year including the finals.
But yeah, let's shite on him one more time so an idiot that hides behind a keyboard can build their self esteem.
Stanfield has already accomplished more in his life than you ever will. That is what pisses you off more than anything.

I'd love Brown & Milam back. No way Curiel is dropping out of the first round. He's got a ton of leverage for a high signing bones being a sophmore as well. He's got a chip and doesn't have anything to prove.

its sickening. kids that have given everything they had to LSU and are amazing people yet our so called "fans" shite on them because they didnt have the kid of season they wanted them to have.
we have the worst baseball fans in the country and its not close

He turned into an automatic out by the end of the season. I'm not saying anything about his character, but he underachieved despite the injury on the baseball field. Take your morality arguments somewhere else

Goodbye and thank you to these 4 champions. Great Tigers! I wish them well in the next chapter of their lives.

Even Jay said 30 teams would have to get it wrong for Milam to come back. He is gone. Time for the MLB for him.

quote:He only played like 5 games at "the end of the season" and he was hurt for all of them. He pinch hit against UGA and hit a HR while literally limping around the bases.
He turned into an automatic out by the end of the season.
In his last 5 starts (all while injured) he went
1/4 with a BB against a first round pick
0/3 against a first round pick
1/3 with 2 BB
1/3 with 2 BB
0/3
Was it his best performance? No. Was he playing through injury and severely limited? Yes.
He hit the ball as well as anyone last year. When healthy, he was never an "automatic out"
quote:I don't think you know what the word "despite" means.
but he underachieved despite the injury on the baseball field

If his injury was affecting his performance then he shouldn't have been playing. Simple as that.
