If he makes it to the bigs with Tampa Bay I’ll join you.

It looks like the Stone Crabs are playing in the new Ft Myers stadium next Tuesday and Wednesday. I’ll try to make it, check out the new stadium and give Mikie a Geaux Tig… errr Geaux Stone Crabs. No, that doesn’t sound right it’ll have to be Geaux Tigers.

Wow, 14 extra base hits out of 30. I assume he has learned to hit the off speed pitch.

Geaux Jared.

If he can't hit A-ball pitching. I'm just saying.

High A is still pretty advanced for guys right out of college and it's 112 AB's, he will probably be ok. Not everyone comes in and destroys the minors right off the bat.

Jared Mitchell did pretty bad his first year and now look at him. 112 AB's is really nothing. If he had just 4 more hits his BA would be a respectable .286

There's a big adjustment to the pro game from college and not everyone makes it quickly.

I have little doubt that Mikie will end up being a solid Major League player in the next few years

How does Leon have that many hits, including 2 homers, and only 5 RBI's?
is he leading off?

he has 2 solo HRs

he has 8 ABs with runners in scoring position. he has 3 hits, driving in 3 runs.

he may be leading off, who knows.

Can't wait to see him next weekend in Tampa against the Tampa Yankees. Hopefully he will sign my son's LSU ball. We have season tickets to the Tampa Yankees and my son has every LSU player that has played against them sign this one ball he keeps above his bed. Haha gotta love his passion for LSU at 6 years old.
