Anybody here attend this year? We've gone the past three years but this might be the last time. Tio Javis catered and I know of three other families that were sick that night and the next day...and since the bathrooms are being remodeled, there was a bathroom trailer there with 2 urinals and 1 toilet for the men. It was literally a shite show. The sprinklers came on at about 130am and soaked one campsites stuff I know of. Other that it was a good time as always. Locker room tours, player and coach autographs and of course Mike.

3rd year going
Ate 5 nachos with cheese and small amount of meat.
Son ate nachos too. Both sick.
I used the woman's restroom Saturday around 9.
Guice was good with the kids...all smiles.

They get really bad reviews on Yelp.

What do you expect with a name like "Javi" in their name. Fire them. (Never should've been hired in the first place)

This is yet another example of the LSUAD not doing their due diligence and research before their awarding a contract.

Just wait until Aramark takes over Tiger Stadium concessions. The LSUAD apparently didn't do any research on their history either. .........

Yes we went this year and my oldest and myself woke up sick at 4 am. Had to bail out shortly after because bathroom situation wasn't good for the shitting we we're doing. Also my entire tent got hit by the sprinkler and to rub salt on the wound when I opened the tent to see what was going on one of the workers was videoing it on her phone laughing.

Wow, no excuse not to have play it safe food. TJ Ribs, or just some BBQ burgers and hot dogs would have been the thing.

The ONE night out of the year, the Sprinklers...can't come on, and you blow it.

I got lucky I guess. The stomach cramping didn't hit me til the next morning. I was struggling to get everything loaded up and get myself to a toilet.

DID anyone from LSU say anything or apologize? Did anyone from the food vendor issue a statement? Typical LSU .

I've never heard of this.

I think it's a pretty neat thing to do with your kids. And I understand not wanting to cause that much of a stink (pardon the pun) because LSU will just cancel it to avoid the liability. But if Tio Javi's gave everybody diarrhea and throwing up, you need to call them out on it. For that kind of money, a caterer doesn't need to mail it in. frick that shite.

Seems like they would've catered something that holds up better in warming trays than nachos. Big bins of BBQ will keep heat and deter botulism. Maybe the restaurant had no control over food once delivered.

The food was cooked on site. My wife was the only one who ate nachos with meat and she was the only that got sick. And frick TJ Ribs. They catered the campout in Alex Box during the fall and it was terrible. I would be happy with just hamburgers and hot dogs.
