Mike’d Up - Why is the intro so long?

The intro to the show is over 4 minutes long, which is just ridiculous and inconvenient for the listener. If anyone knows these guys, can you please relay the message? Maybe cut 2 or 3 minutes off? Nobody wants to hear Ochinko giggling in his little CPM impersonation or clips of the mullet guy laughing at something he thought was funny 2 years ago. Besides the intro, love Mikie and really enjoy his insight and guests

These local podcasts have run stale to me.
Does anyone still listen to Jordy’s show, especially now that he’s not even on?
Mahtook tries way too hard to be Pat Mac.
Even Moscona’s morning scone thing blows.

I do think it’s funny that it’s still called the Jordy Culotta show and he isn’t even on it.

Yes it’s actually pretty absurd that it’s still called the Jordy Culotta show. Where exactly did Jordy go? Does anyone know what kind of sales he’s in?

So he’s in medical device sales? I can’t imagine that being very lucrative for the first few years at least - especially with someone with no experience in that field

I listen to maybe one a week where I used to listen everyday. Just not very good without Jordy.
I think Moscona does a good job with Locked on LSU.

I’ve wondered too why these local shows have such long introductions. Can you imagine turning on the 6pm news and the opener was 4 minutes before you get to the content? Is there a production reason? Seems very common.

I like Mahtook's and Mitchell's insight. I enjoy their CJJ interviews.
The problem is Mitchell is never in the studio and his audio is garbage with the crazy echo. They def need to clean things up.
I do think they become uninteresting when baseball season is done.
