Great point. My thoughts about accepting someone from PSU would be:
a) Does he really want to finish somewhere else? IOW, someone who needs to turn a page and we would be doing him a favor in this regard.
b) Can he contribute at LSU?
c) How would it affect other recruits, players. etc?
If it would cost us a 2014 recruit I would be disinclined to take him.
Question: would it still cost us if he walked-on?
Thought: it would be an incredible story if a PSU player did transfer to LSU and win NC.

Just what I thought, the guy hard blown out both of knees at PSU, one as recently as last season...he is in grad school there so it's not a matter of merely transferring to another school for undergrad and on top of that he has no reason to transfer to another school as he has basically no NFL hope with his injury history now. He probably just wants to get his masters and move on.

I know Mike and played with him, I feel bad how this is turning out for him and his teammates. Mike isnt going anywhere, he is PST through and through. Also he was not offered by LSU I guess bc of the assumption that he was a PST lock. However if any team had a chance to sway him it was LSU. UrbanM was pushing him hard and really liked him.

He was on ESPN saying he isn't going anywhere along with Oher members of the Penn State team.
