Brennan is a better passer. If healthy, he will start.

That’s what I want to hear. Haven’t seen Howard play. I have seen nussmeir, he was in our district in Texas. Lots of QB talent at LSU.

Great arm, accurate, very athletic, poised, strong, and mature.

Kid is the best QB in the country. He really can do it all at a high level.

Nuss is gonna be behind Johnson and eventually Howard. Not sure how long he sticks around.

minus throwing for 675 yards and 6 TDs and running for 2 more in two games.

On 58 and 53% accuracy those games

And the bulk of that comes from Ole Miss, who was legendarily bad at defense

Also, Johnsons rating those two games 141.6 and 140.1

Brennan last year had 163.2, 168.9, and 134.5 as his "bad game"

Brennan showed NFL flashes last year. Johnson didnt, thats my only point. But there was a lot to be excited about for a freshman

Howard is unreal, and he is leaps and bound ahead of Arch, and they are both actually the same age

People want to knock Brennan for not scoring to win the Missouri game when he played almost the whole game with a season ending injury.

Look at his stats that game, and they are incredible. Look at them through the lense of him being injured, and it's even better.

It truly IS his to lose. He is the incumbent starter, after all.

But that doesn't mean a whole lot when the backup is about to pass you up.

Yeah, I just don't see how he gets on the field enough to satisfy him. He's a VERY competitive dude.

Hypothetical:
2021: Brennan (then goes pro, he already graduated)
2022: Max Johnson/Nuss battle (Howard dark horse as freshman)
2023: Howard

I just don't see Howard sitting behind anyone. I think there is honestly a good chance he wins the starting job as a freshman. That's how good I think he'll be.

Well if the head of LSU propaganda is posting the link to this, sounds like you all might have decided on Brennan.

I've said all along that both will play.

Nobody knows who starts, and no matter what, if the starter struggles, in comes #2...

In 3 games Myles had 1112 passing yards, 11 TDs, hitting an average of 370.7 YPG. Any of you overlooking a healthy Myles are fools. Max is good, and will be great, but don't discount Myles because you have short term memory and can't remember beyond the last 2 games of 2020.

So does Rohan Davey. He explained it all, a couple weeks back, on J Culotta.
Said the team has more options with an experienced QB

I think, end of the day, the coaches will play the guy who does the following:

- Doesn't turn it over/make as many costly mistakes
- Understands/has command of more of the playbook than the other

I think it'll be Myles.

According to Blake Ruffino, he is saying his contacts within the LSU Ops building are telling him that Max Johnson has separated himself from Myles Brennan because Max Johnson does the things Jake Peetz wants to do with the offense better relative to Myles Brennan.

While Mike Detillier has been saying the same exact thing forever.
