Wow, lots of hate on Detillier for nothing IMO...at least related to this Q&A. He didn't claim inside information or scoop. He said Kiffin is not regarded as looking for his next job all the time (his opinion) and he said Sumrall has roots in Alabama (assuming that is a fact). And for the people saying 'Oh, what he is saying is all obvious", then I guess we have a new standard.
One and only one poster on this forum can give out the "obvious information". Anybody else gets downvoted about 100 times agreeing with that first poster. MD gave his OPINIONS...just like everybody else does here. Now, if he and Orgeron are joined at the hip, THAT is a justified criticism since that biases his opinion.

One thing is quite apparent this season, much to Landry's liking, I don't see ANY coach worthy of a long term contract! Contrary to what others believe, I think the days of 10 year contracts are history! Jimbo, Kelly and Franklin are the beginning of the end. I bet Clemson is ready to dump Debo, which a few years ago would have been considered heresy! Transfer portal and NIL have changed everything coaching wise.

I haven't been able to take Detellier seriously since he thought the Saints ridiculous deal to get Ricky Williams was the most brilliant thing EVER.
In other words, I haven't taken him seriously in a LONG time.
