Michael Williams...what happened to him?

I thought he had transferred here from UT but he's not listed on the roster and I haven't heard anything about him since he transferred.

I knew he would have to sit out but I hadn't seen him in any of the practice pictures or videos.
Coach O hasn't mentioned him as he has some transfers in the past like Feheko and Giles who were mentioned prominetly during their practices in the years they sat out. I was just wondering if that meant he was underwhelming.

Were you under the impression that he was a "marquee" transfer? He wasn't. His story will be based on how he develops here. He wasn't a guy whose talent automatically guaranteed early playing time.
You somehow were given the wrong impression when he transferred. Good prospect. Good Athlete.

I remember Eric Fowler flipped to Texas on signing day, kid's not on the team anymore and playing junior college somewhere.

Yes, Chase transferred to LSU in 2004 because of the painful memories of his brother Cole's tragic passing. MVA where he likely fell asleep at the wheel heading back to Austin. Hard to believe that was 18 years ago.

I’d agree with you except... there is the way Sterns flipped... and then there’s the way Fowler flipped.( Last minute on signing day when we desperately needed middle linebackers ) and yes he could have notified the staff sooner bc Charlie made him wait to make it official and hurt our team

Sam Houston is definitely not junior college, but it’s also definitely not on the same level as LSU or UT.
