My guess is that MVB doesn't know the offense well enough yet to take over. That might be why Kelly is so hesitant to put him in.

If Van Buren comes in I don’t think he will come out again. That’s why Kelly won’t let him play. Whatever is wrong with Nuss it’s not his year.

For us, we want to win at all cost. We don’t care about these guy’s feelings. Nor should we.
For Kelly, he needs to understand it’s a business. I think he does, he’s just stubborn. This kid is getting paid millions. Kelly is getting paid millions. To, for lack of a better term, make us happy. Win. If Nuss is not cutting it, he has to look elsewhere. Otherwise it’s like negligence. Conduct unbecoming. Or some shite

No doubt in my mind LSU would’ve won the game yesterday if BK would’ve pulled Nuss for Van Buren in the first like he should’ve.

Van Buren was a mixed bag, which you will obviously not see in highlights. His worst game last season was against Ole Miss. He was sacked 27 times in 9 games and threw 7 interceptions & 11 TDs That's 1.57 TDs/Ints. Nuss had a ratio of 2.42 TDs/Ints last season.

I would like to see them give him a shot, though. Nuss just looks off this season.

Well the offense sucks, so let’s spend the next two weeks building some packages he can play in. I’m not saying start him—but he could have been used this past weekend.

You have to give your football team the best chance to win. If Ole miss is going to run that defense and still get pressure on Nuss is going to have trouble. Period. At Least Van Buren is a run threat. Maybe Ole Miss’ defense is completely unprepared for Van Buren to come in and run the ball? Who knows? IMO opinion you at least trot him out there a little bit and find out.
