He isn’t a recruit and any car dealership will do that knowing a kid is about to get paid.
Good god, man, that's absolutely idiotic.

If we get to New Orleans, he still shouldn't play. He chose what was more important than football and his teammates
He also chose to come back, practice, provide leadership and energy with no guarantee that he would ever play another down for LSU. Looks to me he paid his debt to his team and then some!
So, while you sit on your high horse and cast stones, I think I will trust Coach O with the decision. IMO, if he has come back and busted his butt for 6-8 weeks, helping the team prepare for victory, he should be allowed to play if he is ready.

Where is Divinity projected?
He was projected in the top 3 rounds before all this happened (I saw him in the second round at a few spots). Anyway, he's our best LB when he's on the field so I would venture to guess he's no lower than a third rounder when it's all said and done.

Probably has injury insurance.

They can only do that after a guy declares for the draft. Otherwise, it’s a massive NCAA violation.

Oh shut up. He’s done his time. Why would you arbitrarily punish someone longer than the defined suspension for the transgression?

Then why can't he play against OU? He's suspended. He's suspended for a reason. People need a reality check
In your last 15 posts.
1. You said a starting LSU basketball player "sucks this year"
2. You said The football coaches made several errors in the Auburn game like you're some professional sports analyst.
3. you're also a recruiting expert as you criticized our coaches for not "closing the last 3 years" on signing day.
You need a reality check,
ya pompous cockmonkey.

Divinity has underperformed to his potential from day one.
I wish him well but could care less whether he ever wears the uniform again.

So with this thinking are you saying that Saahdiq Charles or any of the others who have failed drug test at LSU not play and their careers be over as a college athlete. Is your name Joe Aleeva. He is serving his suspension. Good for him to get his degree

Well, Smart has been a disappointment this season and LSU just got their brains beat in by East Tennessee State
LSU went 0 for 2 on 4th Downs in the red zone against Auburn. The coaches, and Burrow, have all said throughout the season they “wish they had those 4th downs” back because they rushed them and didn’t analyze the play properly.
And yes, again, considering the people we were in the running for that we lost out on, we did not close. 2 weeks ago we thought we would be #1 recruiting class.
All that is honestly fact. Doesn’t mean I don’t think the LSU coaches aren’t amazing, I pointed out that one game...which they’ve admitted...was poor. Doesn’t mean I don’t think our recruiting class isn’t very very good...but it’s not what the coaches nor most insiders expected.
Most of you get really really butthurt, DAMN. My favorite is that you’re challenging me on basketball...you’re clueless

Why does challenging you on basketball make him clueless?

As a fanbase, how are people so obtuse? Missing 3-4 games against shitty schools is one thing. A Senior captain getting suspended the week of the Alabama game for 2 months? How is that acceptable? Thats failing around 5 drug tests in a single season.
The best part...THE BEST PART, is that Tyrann Mathieu got kicked off the LSU team for drug tests. Tyrann has said hundreds of times its the most regrettable and selfish thing he’s done in his life. It’s one of the main reasons he’s been so generous giving back to LSU because he knows how much he let his teammates and the fans and the university down. Which further proves my point...Divinity made a selfish decision

Because he challenged me after LSU just lost by double digits to a mid major school. So my comments were and are warranted. The player in question was supposed to be a major focal point of our season and has GREATLY disappointed.
