I’m proud he finished his business and got that diploma. Now when we take care of Oklahoma he will ball out in New Orleans!

Unpopular opinion:

If we get to New Orleans, he still shouldn't play. He chose what was more important than football and his teammates. How people take up for his actions is shocking. Not to mention by that point he won't have played football for 2 months. Doubt he's going to just come back and ball out.

Good for him.
Sad to say too many athletes aren't concerned with the degree at all.
Smart, that paper will open doors after football,
or if football doesn't work out.

Do you think his teammates feel this way? Because that's all that matters. He doesn't owe you or me shite. Also, let's not act like we know 100% of the story.

Hey may have been on the verge of academic probation and decided to focus on grades and getting his degree. Cant fault him for that. I'm sure hes been staying in shape. Is he in "football shape"? Probably not.. but now he has three weeks to get ready for NCG. Go get it.

Boom! Being graduated from LSU is something that probably half the nitwits on this board haven’t ever sniffed.

Dumbest post of the day. He messed up and is serving the penalty for it. He knew that he would not be able to play again unless this team made the title game and he decided to continue practicing to be ready incase that happened. It would have been much easier to pack it in at that point, but he didn't. I'm sure his teammates and coaches feel the exact opposite of you.

Get off your high horse man! I’m sure you’ve been forgiven before. Oh wait... You probably didn’t do stupid shite when you was his age.

You have no idea what kind of dues he’s had to pay to be able to play!

Highly doubt it but any smart bank would recognize credit rating that this young man has. Heck, if I was a bank manager, I could get very creative.

The dude is a few weeks away from being a millionaire...
