It was bad hire promoting from within with Sloan. LSU shouldn’t ever be a “training ground” for an OC that has no sustained success/experience as a FBS coordinator.

There’s no way to sugarcoat it… that was a bad hire and should have never happened.

Go hire an experienced coordinator

Well bitch guess you are blind or just trolling. Yeah they are on Davis and now BK. But as usual with us and every fricking fan base when an offense doesn't meet their expectations they immediately blame the OC. Ensminger suffered the same shite Sloan is suffering now. Simpleton thinking.

Sloan is stuck with a fricking QB who has become indecisive, with poor pocket awareness, making throws into triple coverage and too chicken shite to run. Along with that a young inexperienced OL.

You mean Sloan, THE QB COACH??? “Stuck” with a qb that he coaches on a daily basis? The same qb that has regressed during his coaching? You talking about THAT SLOAN??? The more you post, you dumber you turn out to be. Maybe better to sit these out, Gramps.

Are you blind or just ignorant youngster? Nuss threw for over 4,000 yds last year under Sloan. Unless you been living in a cave or once again blind or ignorant Nuss has been playing hurt. What Nuss lacks as a QB can't be coached out of him. Your problem is you want simpleton answers to a complicated issue. Oh lastly once again unless you are blind or just ignorant the OL is an issue whick once again unless you are blind or just ignorant affects QB play.

Good point, except his completion % was 64%.

Other than that…

complete nonsense
Nuss is injured but the play design from running to pass routes are the creation of the OC. He is a complete failure, and not changing tactics when OM ran a 3/8drop, was literally criminal

If you've seen anything I've posted, you'd know that I fully blame the O-line, as well as your beloved Sloan, and Brian Kelley. Nussmeier has been rattled by every defense we've played, because the o line can't get off the ball and block a jr high d-line. They're out muscled, but also, they miss their blocks because they don't know who they're supposed to block, on any given play. The running backs have given up on the line opening any holes where they should be, so they just try to run far to the outside, or right into the backs of the O-line to try to get any gains they can. Add to that, Sloan's inability or refusal to adjust to the defensive game plan, and his amnesia when it comes to abandoning the plays that have worked in the past. This guy is just throwing shite at the wall, and hoping it sticks. This whole offense is in the toilet and fricks like you, want to keep defending these inept, underqualified, losers that Kelley decided to keep, even though it was clear that they were the problem last year. I don't think you even know what you're watching, or what the object of the game is.

The only memo he needs is one written on a pink slip.

Beloved Sloan? I belove no one. This post of yours says it all. You say the OL sucks so the RB's have no holes to run through. If that's true what plays does your hated Sloan call that can improve the run game? If Nuss gets rattled as you say then that's his fault. My view is that the whole offense starts with the QB and Nuss aint right because he is injured or whatever. You will eat your words when one of two things happen 1.Nuss heals and gets better or he improves on his own or 2. MVB comes in and he is good enough to start.

I also "white knighted" for Ensminger and that turned out OK. Give Sloan a QB half as good as Burrow Sloan would be a genius here at TD

The Memo should be more to "Maestros" OL Coach Brad Davis and Run Game Coordinator " Alex Atkins.

That Stat should be HORRIFYING to all LSU fans.........

Meanwhile at the Insane Asylum, here's all the Pumptards and their Boyfriends.........

You are very quickly replacing lester earl as the worst poster on this site. Ensinger overall is and was very well regarded by the fan base. He only stepped up to OC to basically save Ed's butt because he couldn't hire a decent OC. Everyone knew this and he eventually stepped down because he didn't want to deal with the responsibilities of that position. Regardless, this is a fan site to talk about LSU sports, our football team hasn't looked great since 2019 and before that 2012 so there's going to be discussion on who is doing a good job and who isn't and what's needed to get us back into contention.

Yes a title I covert. You see the worse poster here means you don't go along with the fire the position coach, the coordinator or the head coach when we lose 1 FRICKING GAME. Glad you gave me that title because you are part of the same mob that wanted O and Ensminger fired and wanted Dave Aranda as head coach. I was also the worse poster who told y'all Nuss is not a championship QB before the season started. SLOAN AINT THE PROBLEM. NUSS IS THE PROBLEM AND BK WAS IS TO BLAME FOR LETTING NUSS PLAY THE WHOLE GAME AGAINST OLE MISS.

HELLO LESTER EARL

I agree with some of your comments. It's never as simple as the couch potato experts make it sound. Nuss is off. It sure seems that way. BK is not forthcoming and leaves us guessing. We aren't in the room and don't know the details. Sloan, Davis, the Oline all need to do better. There is plenty of blame to go around, on the offensive side. This has been a long week.
