He will test well at the combine, they won’t force him to choose run or pass in drills!
Agreed. Jayden has a good arm and decent enough precision. His struggle is his progressions and knowing where to go with the ball. He'll look good throwing to receivers with no defense.

I was told by the geniuses on here that he had no chance of being drafted. This place is a bastion of intelligence

The same folks touting JD, were touting JR as a first round draft pick a decade ago.
Never equate intelligence/judgement when folks are playing with someone else's money.

Well, that list is as shady as that greasy used car salesman Kiper is. Levis at 1? 4 maybe, Hendon at 6? Top 3, Richardson at 4? Lucky to be top 10

You should actually study up on this year’s QB class.

Look, I love it for Jayden because a ranking like 5th in the class will get him drafted in the late third round. That's pretty good money. But any list that has Jadyen Daniels above Hendon Hooker is shite.

Levis at 1 and Richardson at 4 disqualifies this list. But good for Jayden.

Terrific.

He should go ahead and leave now to test himself.

Don't even think about it, Jayden. Just pack a bag and go.

Daniels is 3 years younger than Hooker. (And only a year older than Nuss)

Hooker will be a 25yr old rookie. Coming off an acl. Would honestly be surprised if he’s drafted.

What’s the difference between Hendon Hooker and Bryce Petty?

Agree with this and Geaux Jayden!

In the right situations, he could be a weapon in the NFL.

again, age doesn't matter for a QB. They can play into their mid-30s.

Now for RBs, age is indeed an issue, because RBs have a limited shelf life.

But not QBs. And I'd think a mature 25 year old rookie is a positive for NFL teams.

truly idiotic.

And his ACL is a non-issue. ACLs aren't what they used to be a decade ago. Hell, Joe Burrow shredded his knee with the Bengals and had a great year the following year.

ACLs don't matter anymore.

Age matters in terms of development. 100% unquestionably.

But yea, QBs can play for a long time. It’s not the same.

Where do you think Hooker gets drafted?

25yr old QB well past the developmental stage who won’t be ready to start the season.

Welll if we lose Howard because BK goes with Daniels that will be my first legitimate “what the actual frick are you doing?!?” With coach BK. If we lose both Nuss and Howard over Daniels the fan base will go ape shite over this. BK ain’t ready for all that

As a coach, the only thing you can control is who you put on the field. You put the best person on the field. You can't control who comes and goes and you don't sit the best player so that you can keep another just because he has more eligibility left. In case you haven't noticed, there is going to be a new QB market every year. Whomever wins the job next year will be the best for it, and if others transfer, oh well.
