Mel Kiper Big Board and Mock Draft

Mel does the 1st Round and Top 5 of every position. Top 10 of QBs.
Maason Smith and Wingo are 4 and 5 on the DL list.
Missing are Jayden Daniels and Malik Nabers.
This seems to go against the Sunshine Pumpers.
Do the pre-season Pumpers admit they were a little too optimistic? Esp. on JD5?

The idea that Daniels was ever an NFL QB was always misguided at best, and delusional at worst.
But hey, at least his awesome athletic ability can get us out of a hole that his shitty passing put us in!

Where are all the people that say Daniels is a high draft pick or will be a good NFL QB?
There are countless good college QB’s that weren’t high draft picks.

Every thing that scouts found intriguing about Richardson, JD does not possess.
Absolute Cannon for an arm, freak athleticism, built like a linebacker.

Richardson has a good arm and is a pocket passer. Daniels is neither.

Daniels was 10x the Qb Richardson was last year. So to say he can’t be drafted late is delusional.
Although, the upside Richardson has is undoubtedly crazy higher which is why he went so high.

You think Richardson and Daniels are remotely similar?
They are both black and can run. That's where the similarities end. Richardson has prototypical NFL QB size and has a rocket arm, which NFL GMs have always been enamored with.

Jayden is a great athlete. I don't think you'd call it freak athleticism at the professional level though.
And I agree that arm strength can be an overrated trait. But it's absolutely a big part of what got AR drafted 4th overall, which is what I was responding to.

Richardson’s raw talent is off the charts. Daniels would need Stetson Bennett/Desmond Ridder levels of production to be drafted high.
