If he wins at McNesse for 2 years, he comes back home hopefully. He’s loved by the fans, but I’m not sure SW likes him too much.

Idk if you've seen our recruiting for this year, but his only option is to make some massive moves in the portal.

Obviously. And I’m not confident he will. We’ll see.

By doing so, all of the people involved in all the football & basketball allegations are no longer at LSU.

Schools have been hammered for violations long after the coaches or players had left the program.

They replaced Emmert, and I’m pretty sure one of the 1st things the new President said was they were gonna try to go away from really penalizing people who had nothing to do with violations. Now, Woodward didn’t know that when he fired Wade (I don’t think) and we’ll still see how it winds up playing out, but Wade being gone could mitigate the severity of the penalties. Not that we’ll know unless they come out and actually state that in the ruling.

But I was told that none of our fans were more committed to coach Wade than they were to our program???

There are MANY of them here.

Scott has done nothing fricking Joe Dean couldn’t have done.

Woodward is far from perfect, but this is literally the dumbest fricking statement ever uttered on this site.

I was at LSU to watch Dean preside over one of the darkest periods in the school’s sports history. The worst football in LSU history- period. He watched and did nothing as the wheels fell off the basketball program and Dale and his staff burned what was left down. Most of the rest of the programs were average or worse by the time he was done. If it weren’t for baseball and track, Dean would have been one of the worst P5 ADs of all time. Thanks to them he can just be remembered as weak, incompetent and by far and away the worst AD in LSU history. Thank God Emmett sidelined him and took charge of the search that brought us Saban.
