the sad thing right now is McNeese hasn't hit a single ball hard tonight and we've given up 5 runs and the bases are loaded again with 1 out

We were losing 5-4 last Friday when I realized I was not wearing any LSU gear. Put on an LSU tshirt, and we immediately banged out like 8 runs.
I just dug that shirt out of the laundry and put it on.

What is it about midweek games against in-state teams that historically gives LSU trouble? This is nothing new and I was kind of half expecting it. I still think they'll come back tonight but it's crazy.
