Easy tagout at second that was missed. 4 runs on 6 outs.

Unbelievable. He was lucky to get out of the inning. All on an error that grade school kids don't make.

Worst inning possible. Close play reviewed at 2nd base...safe for OM. K and McManus can't get in front of the ball...ridiculous. Swing at 3rd strike and ump says no swing.....any one of these and OM doesn't score in the inning. Then Hilliard loses all confidence and boom LSU is down 4 runs and possibly more.

Also helps if you have a pitcher with more than one pitch.

Agree. When you don’t have faith in your catcher blocking the strikeout pitch it forces you to leave the pitch in a hitters zone. McManus is killing him by not being able to block that pitch

Yep. Hilliard is out of the inning with shutout intact if McManus could catch.

Sure, but who’s to say he wouldn’t have allowed the first 4 baserunners to reach base in the next inning anyway?

LSU should offer Southeastern’s catcher for next season. None of the guys we have now are worth a damn.

I was told the othwr night that passed balls arent errors so I guess we shouldn't worry about it lol
