You would have to be brain dead to not understand the difference between Mcmahons 1st year NIL budget and Wade's first year NIL budget this year. Yall keep trying to make this about who the better coach is. I'm just commenting on the NIL situation and the sanctions situation compared to Mcmahons 1st year. That's it. That's what the initial post was about and that's what I'm commenting on with facts. Wade definitely has his work cut out for him with 0 players currently but at least he has no sanctions and $12 mil to work with. Would love to know if the players leaving were processed or did they leave on their own. I would have thought he would have kept at least 3 but without knowing what their NIL number was it's hard to judge.

In all seriousness, McMahon inherited 3 returning players.

No he did not. All returning players had entered the portal. He convinced Adam Miller and Mwano Wilkinson who were both recuperating from serious surgeries to return. Mwani only played half a season before he was injured again. The third returnee was Justice Williams who joined the team in January the previous season out of high school and had limited experience. Miller played through this year and has never regained his form after his knee injury.

Rankings for McMahon's first signing class:

HS recruit class ranking: 17
Transfer class ranking: 11
Overall: 21

The guy was a terrible coach. That's why he had to sit in the corner and do nothing while his employer, not very discreetly worked, to hire his replacement. He had no other option but to sit there and take it
Despite having $5.00 and "the death penalty" hanging over his head it seems like McMahon did a pretty good job filling roster. So maybe the fact LSU finished LAST (something his teams would do or come within a game of doing 3 of his miserable 4 years at LSU) had something more to do that "no money" and "sanctions".

You can’t blame Wade for the decision of the people that fired him to not give MM enough money to compete in the portal.

Wade will have a roster and it will be a pretty good one. He will likely make the dance.

But it ain’t like the cultists were crowing—that every player in the country would be breaking down the doors to play for Wade.

I never heard this narrative. I actually think Wade is really good at getting players that fit what he wants and maximizing talent. Just look at where the players from the 2021-22 team transferred to when he was fired. None of those players went on to contribute at the P5 level for other schools. Yet, Wade had that team in the Top 10 before Pinson's injury.

Even Tari Eason was a limited role player at Cincy the year before. I think Wade is very good at getting the right guys for his system in a way that gets the most out of them.

You can blame CMM for not actively fundraising to support his own program.

Most of the time when a coach is fired, the program is in shambles.

Miles to Ed O was a football exception, and they likely had to do with Ed already being on the staff and took over mid season as opposed to a failing season, firing, and coach search. Cohesiveness of staff can be something to build off of.

Baseball is the lone program that never really was in shambles from one coach to the next.

Kelly is a great coach. And he’s out of work. Some don’t go back bc they don’t need to. If they start working immediately, it offset the buyout

Makes claims, can’t back them up because the claims don’t exist then throws a curse filled fit with more lies when called on it. Typical dishonest clown
