Guy wants so bad to be right about McMahon. Like even if it miraculously played out that way we’d forget how much of a gaping pussy bitchboy he is. This idiot calls out Jay Johnson for underperforming but hey maybe the basketball team will win 4 league games!

10 point game with 2:00 to go. Not easy to overcome, yet not impossible. However, McMahon just gives up. Not pressure no trying to force turnovers. No fouling a bad FT shooting. He just literally fricking quits. There is a reason he’s a loser. He has a loser’s mindset
I didn’t understand not fouling, since Texas A&M was shooting foul shots so poorly. I know all our bigs were in foul trouble, so have the guards foul. Williams had 0 fouls, so I would’ve put him to foul.

MM needed to generate some excitement and find some NIL sugar daddies. It's too late for him to do that now
He doesn’t excite the donors and he doesn’t want to be a fundraiser…which is necessary in this era of college sports. He’s a mid-major coach with a mid-major mindset and a mid-major approach.
It would be mutually beneficial for both to part ways. He can go back to Murray St where he is a better fit. LSU can finally move on from this waste of time

You would think that’s enough to make the tournament but I’m honestly not so sure with Matt McMahon.
Also have to wonder who comes after Vyctorious miller. Money comes with promise and winning and McMahon doesn’t deliver on either after three years.
He's actually done a decent job of holding the (theoretically) key parts of his rosters together which makes it all the worse that so many aren't developing.

That's about right. Early projected score Aggies 78, LSU 67. Tigers competitive and under DD until about the 10 minute mark 2nd half.
Total was off, but other than that. Spot on.

Half of the pieces he’s kept don’t see the court for some reason
Mike Williams. And he ran off Ward practically
These are 4 and 5 stars we’re talking about

Off the court, zero complaints but at some point you have to do the actual job

It’s a weird schtick. I honestly believe the mgrath guy is just a diehard positiger. He’ll break at some point.

Ignore that guy. His opinion ONLY comes from the perspective as a contrarian. Literally, if you told him the sun will rise in the east tomorrow he’s argue incessantly why it won’t.
We all know people like that. Often they are sad…and kind of pathetic. But usually it’s all they have

Damnit, only 9 points away from a "McHallman" moniker.

You are probably right. What a miserable existence. Just glad I’m not him.

Another dumb question from me: What does the pear signify?
Posted on 1/18/25 at 11:56 pm to Fat Bastard
Looks like lsu turned the ball over on 27% of their possessions.
That's really poor in year 3.

The loss of our big was a killer, we're putting far too much pressure on the wings and especially Cam, but what are going to do about it at this point.

For the love of god, bring back the pear!

Any physicality at all takes us completely out of our offense. Hell, A&M struggled just as badly on offense for 35 minutes it's just they got 20 offensive boards. Then we got tired or gave up whichever you choose to call it at the end and they started getting easy baskets.
It was maddening to see that token 3/4 court pressure of A&M's completely prevent us from even getting into any semblance of what one might call an offense....hell we even got a 10 second call once - it was very frustrating to watch.
And I like Bailey, he's an overachiever type, but man last night I was scared every time he dribbled - it looked like maybe he had case of vertigo or something.
