Is Niang really a 22yo freshman? What is the rules with 5 for 5 & the “clock”?

Same for 24yo Levy

Skyy Clark hit 42+% from 3 last season at UCLA.

Can Nunez shoot the 3 at all?

Jim is big mad seeing the General with a top 25 team in year 1….

Jim tell us all how McBottoms just needed more time to build a program.

Benders shot definitely needs work. Pretty sure I remember no arc and one being banked in, wasn't Pretty but went in lol

I was asking a legit question, but you children can’t help yourself. See you in the PMAC

For a 6’2” guard, not really. Career 31% on not very high volume.

Also it seems like Nunez might not even be able to play for a while this year being in a boot the exhibition games.

I thought I recall Wade saying in a past press conference that he had surgery. While he did not say he was done for the year, we know from experience that foot/ankle problems can linger for basketball players

You are asking a question about niang’s eligibility when he has been deemed eligible by both the ncaa and the SEC. the question itself implies that you don’t think he should be.

I was asking about his classification & how many years he has left at LSU

I found the answer. The 5 for 5 clock begins on an athletes HS graduation or 19th birthday.

Levy presumably has 1 year left
Niang has multiple

Yeah…sure. While also mentioning Levy.

You know if that’s what you are wanting to know you could just say-hey glad to have Sialou on board. He will be a difference maker. how many years will Niang have?

Instead of “is Niang really a 22 year old freshman? What is the rules with 5 for 5”

Do you see the difference?

I saw they were both listed as a freshman, which is accurate as it’s their first year in college. I found the answer on eligibility

Jim, aka Mr. Q4, does not like Wade and is a mediocrity McMahon lover.

He also predicted mcmahon to have 6 sec wins in January last year.

Yeah im not saying they are literally paying their own way, we can give out 15 scholarships, my point was more of who is seen as a walk on level player, and to me thats including Bender. He was not some D1 level recruit.

The way I'd break it down is basically this:

Guys who will play a lot and rotate often
Dent
Clark
Bashir
Ugochukwu
Niang
Dioubate
Dessert
Ruzic

Guys who are clearly better than the walk on level guys, a clear step down from the aboe, but could factor in foul or injury type situations to the above
Nunez (once healthy)
Levy

Walk on level players who probably wont play in anything but blowout situations
Bender [Better than the below, but still not close to the above]
Pearson
Fife
Stansbury

I got you now.

I just know some people get confused about the old rules versus the new rules, where there really aren’t too many actual walk ons, but yeah, walk on type talent, but still generally on scholarship.

Not necessarily. I've seen Wade comp him to Tari Eason

He has never taken more than 0.7 3PA per game in a season playing professionally. Its more just not really a part of his game. He will probably take a little more per game than that here, but Wade was always a fan of 3s and getting to the rim. He hates mid-range jumpers. Niang can get to the bucket without a doubt.

Niang's biggest strength is basically the ability to guard anyone on a college basketball court and be an absolute menace with his 7 foot wingpsan and elite athleticism. Very very high motor that rebounds really well for a guy his size and the ability to get to the rim when you dont normally would expect it.

in the mcneese game bender looked confused like it was all too fast.

in the UCF game he still looked slow but made some shots. his motion is very very weird he moves his arm and rolls the ball off his palm or something its hard to describe.

my theory is that bender is truly abysmal and on the team because his dad is a friend of wade and/or stansbury from recruiting help and connections.

I could be wrong he could be normal walk on level. but I think he is worse.
