You are mistaken.

Once again the non basketball fan excuse makers are caught in a fabrication. They don’t know anything but it doesn’t stop them from constantly and shamelessly making false statements. Like it was predicted a couple years back, these people would love for LSU basketball to fall into the basement again so they’re loving what’s going on right now.

Unbelievable

It really is a terrible contract.

Why in the fuch did they give him 7 years?

And don't tell me sanctions.

I think Woodward did as good of a job as he could have, and to just write McMahon completely off at this point is also dumb as hell.

Quit bringing logic and patience to this equation. It doesn't fit. You need to ignore the facts, jump to conclusions and profess the firing of coaches after one year without considering the entire situation.

Get with the program.

Look teams like Missouri, miss st.,etc.. went through turn over new coachs replacing 90 percent of there roster and, look what there doing. Kim mulkey in her 1st year turned the women's program completely around, hell high school coaches know when other teams make adjustments on your team, you have to make adjustments to win McMahon has not done this how can you be a p5 college coach and not figure out that you have to constantly be evolving as a team to win

These salaries are incredible. I can’t wrap my head around those numbers. I definitely went into the wrong field

You only like them better now, in hindsight. There was nothing about Todd Golden's resume that was anything close to what McMahon had and same with Dennis Gates. LSU fans claiming they wanted those guys is such a lie. National writers were praising the hire. They don't always work out but that doesn't mean it was a bad hire relative to the other guys out there. It's really just a coin flip trying to hope a mid major coach wins at the next level but we had no choice because a sitting P5 coach wasn't coming.

Those two cpaches had more passion and were winning at places like Cleveland state and san fran.

Where are these facts? All that guy did was post wishes and opinions.

There’s no excuse for a contract like that with any unproven coach much less one that has zero distinctive accomplishments. Among the 6 Murray State coaches over the last 25+ years he’s 4th in winning% and the biggest win of his career was vs Marquette. He didn’t have big scoring margins and he always got dirt rolled vs good teams except for that juggernaut I mentioned before. The hire made no sense unless like people say it was Fat Scotty doing his buddy Buzz a favor.

It's the same for Kelly. They hold a state job, which is paying that base. Everything else on top of that comes from TAF.

Wrong! TAF goes to student athletics not coaches. The rest of the money comes from the radio and tv shows and endorsements.
