I specifically said the poor judgement was on personality, not his ability as an OC. I agree with everything you stated.

ok? How do you know what he places value on? Seems to me if he didn't care about money, he'd have just walked away, right? But, for someone who earns their living coaching football, getting paid is definitely important. I'm sure his family cares that he is paid money owed to him in his contract. You know, those people that rely on him.

so is your argument about who won more games or how many points the team scored? And does Ensminger's struggles with Alabama (albeit in different years and with different teams) make Canada a good coach?

I firmly believe Orgeron mistakenly believed Kiffin was in the bag, and when Kiffin took the FAU job, he was forced to hire a name people had heard of after the comments made in his press conference. Should have 1) not said what he did to fuel the fire; and 2) he shouldn't have cared how his hire would have been received but rather cared to hire the right guy. Either way, mistakes were made by Orgeron hiring him IMO

He's an obviously better coach than Ensminger, and we ran him off. Not really up for debate.

Isnt that the game where Gage rushed for almost 9 yards a carry and scored a td,all on jet sweeps?
If I'm not mistaken, in that same game, Derrick Dillon had a 30 yard gain, not to mention chark averaged 8 yards a carry. All on the same play in the gif. Oh yeah we won 17 to 16, un like the 8 point loss last season.
I didn't like the overall scheme either, too gimicky and run heavy for the sec. You cant win games against top teams if they shut down the jet sweep and the dive play, in that offense.
May have worked some against bama, cuz they weren't as good against the run that year.
The way We ran against bama that year was enough to get guys open deep. We really would have had a good chance to pull it off ,if Danny's deep ball accuracy was at least average
