his reason may be wrong, but his main point is completely accurate. He should have transferred to a university where he could play immediately.

Explain to me which University he could have transferred to and played immediately? Is there one where the NCAA transfer rules don't apply?
The other thing that people haven't really been discussing is whether or not LSJ had any D1 schools offer him a spot. You can't transfer to a school unless they have a spot for you and this late in the process, his choices would have been limited. His best option was to go to JUCO and get recruited for a full season.
Personally, I'd love to see him end up at Tulane. I think he would tear up the AAC in Fritz's Spread option system.

How so? I mean he could have gone to Harvard I guess, but that wasn't why he was complaining about the choice. Lack of immediate playing time was Moscona's whole premise.
He's immediately eligible, and his competition for the starting job is a formerly unranked recruit who is 5'11, with a team ranked #1 in juco preseason. That's about as good of a shot at playing time as he's gonna get on a team that every D1 coach in the south will be scouting.
