Marty had to give a side hug because of his erection would have prevented the frontal.

Just two metrosexuals talking football on a rural Mississippi tarmac while wearing sportcoats cut from the upholstery of their grandmothers’ sofas.

Nothing to see here.

If you told someone in 2003 that USC head coach Pete Carroll would be one day be telling his WR coach to go to LSU, we would have told you you were high

Kiffin made them the powerhouse, that's why we hired him.

You know Lane wanted to say “don’t ask stupid fricking questions man” when Marty asked him what LSU offered that Ole Miss didn’t.

Weird he doesn't have a better answer for why he'd go to LSU. He had two chances and booted both of them.

He gave a mature answer. Rule #1 when changing jobs is don’t burn your bridges.

Lane has grown.

For all the opinions that Lane is a loose cannon with his mouth, he was very professional here. There is no reason to kick Ole Miss while they are down and talk up LSU. Everyone knows LSU is one of THE brands in CFB. In-state recruiting to yourself, world class facilities, etc. No need to even answer the question. Lane played it well.

he was trying to be respectful to Ole Miss. just let it be. Let’s please not over analyze everything. He had a lot of young men that he told Ole Miss was a better choice than LSU. Let him at least remain consistent in their eyes

Idk about you but I think “God told me to go coach at LSU so I’m going” is a pretty awesome answer.

Though I don’t for a second believe that Lane is a devout Christian.
