Jaden Hill could pitch better than this right now.

Hess would be better on Sunday when you have a better chance of a shootout.

How do you know Marceaux is? How many starts has he had?

Marceaux couldn’t beat St Amant last year but he’s ready to be our Friday night guy??

I agree. Hess has never been the dominant Friday night starter LSU is used to

We haven’t even seen Landon throw a pitch yet and you already proclaiming him as the starter on Friday lol.

2 inning into the season and we already know Hess sucks and Marceaux is the best pitcher on the team even though he's never pitched for LSU.

I'm not panicking on Hess, but if Marceaux is as good as we all think he is, he should be starting on friday nights by the start of SEC play. I'm expecting Hess to have a very good year, but I don't know if he'll ever have the command to be a true friday night ace. He has his days... Just want to see some consistency.

Pump the fricking brakes already. He's yet to even throw a collegiate pitch and you're crowning him the Friday night guy

Marceaux didn’t start that St Amant game.

Yeah let's just completely ignore his 5+ ERA in a full season as a starter last year

Dude, he's been facing a talented LSU lineup in the fall and preseason, and has been the best pitcher by far.

We do need to see how he handles the pressure of a game that counts, but there seems to be little reason to doubt him. Much like Lange in his freshman season.

I honestly don’t think Hess can throw anything below the belt on purpose... same as last year.

No one has ever improved over an off season before?

We talking about practice. He may very well be Lange 2.0. But, let's see it in a game before anointing the Friday night starter.

Preseason means nothing. Nada. Zilch. Never has, never will.
And btw, he was garbage in the fall.

Thank you, metaloctopus. Marceaux has dominated this LSU lineup in winter and fall ball. Marceaux demonstrates command with all if his pitches. You need that tone setter for a Frida night guy. Its not hess
