This kid gutted it out not giving up an earned run for 6 2/3 innings but our shotty defense leaves him behind 2-1. If this team is going to do anything in the post-season they are going to have to shore up the defense and find timely hitting with runners in scoring position.

I'm very happy LSU won. I stayed up until 3 a.m. last night pulling for the Tigers. Just saying a little defense and run support would be nice when you get a solid pitching performance. And my names not Sparky.

Why was that even needed when the team won? LSU won. Why was any disclaimer needed? Can't you just feel good about the heroic effort that ALL of those young men displayed? Why do you feel obligated to bring out a negative? Should all of them be perfect all of the time like you were in our day?
I do not understand a mindset that finds a negative in what should be a huge positive feeling.
