What do you know that Coach Miles and his staff doesn't?
Some shite is not worth fretting over, this is one.
If they're good enough to get on the field, let them. The coaches are putting them in a position to get some field experience. When you're elite, you reload.

Playing true freshmen is a great recruiting angle.

Chavis said "we don't recruit players to redshirt them". He also said if recruits live up to expectations they will only be here three years anyway. I like this philosophy a lot.

Not sure how it works, but don't you have to graduate so many out of every class, or get penalized down the road??

Play 'em if they're ready. Exception: OL.

Yep. The way we recruit, it doesn't matter.

Pretty good for an "underwhelming" "not up to LSU standards" signing class.

The coaching staff refilled the "team's" needs in terms of recruting and could have cared less about the recruiting gurus' needs.
I think they did just fine.

seemed unnecessary to burn Hill's last night.
He runs like a man though

No, these guys on the d only stay for 3 years anyway. We basically wasted a year on brockers by redshirting him.

We are in the reload era of LSU Football, enjoy !

Allen is gone for the year so it's pretty necessary to play Hunter in his place. Like to be 3 deep at DE. It's a position we have to rotate quite a bit.

When will posters realize, WE DON'T RECRUIT THE PLAYERS THAT WILL BE IN CFB FOR FOUR YEAR.

Yes but so for not freshman have been burned so it was probably a good idea to burn their shirts because the opposing offense sure can't burn them!

I like to see freshmen playing, I think it's good for recruiting.

shite, I'm still surprised we redshirted Sam and Mingo in 09 (moreso Sam) give how lacking our pass rush was.
