Many of you have accepted mediocrity

That’s the only rational explanation for the excuses being spouted here.
LSU offense looks like it has regressed. Stats will reflect this as the season progresses. And the excuses will still happen...
Orgeron was not hired to “rebuild” as much as many of his apologists want to change the narrative to that. Miles was held to “9-3 is the floor” type of expectations.
Now, 8-4 is considered a good season.
The battle here is the rational fans who understand what’s unfolding quickly vs those that just refuse to accept that major mistakes have been made.
8-4 is the ceiling, IMO.
Those lashing out at people here for being concerned about a 31-0 win are looking from a very shortsighted and narrow lens.

Our offense is a disaster. Ed Orgeron is more allergic to good offense than Les Miles.
We know these things.
We know these things.

Most realize there is noting we can do about it and we love the Tigers too much to simply not go or not watch.

I find it telling that the mouthpieces are not out in full force, especially a couple non stop ones.
My guess is the concern around the football program is as thick as Jello. Tough to navigate your way through that.

this is true. The program rot has left our athletic building and has spread to our fans.
As much as I love Aranda I really think we need to go outside of the LSU program for our next head coach and have every single coach and staff member fired to fix this all the way down to S&C.
We really need a new board, new TAF leadership, fire king, fire alleva and torch the football ops building at this point. the Poison as spread that bad. Aranda might be able to save it but he would literally have to fire everyone else if given the job.

10-3 is the floor. I was told that any coach could win at LSU
Let’s get it done

After 10 years of CLM, I’d say most are conditioned to ride that wave of mediocrity all the way to their casket, where someone will put an LSU hat on them and everyone will say under their breath, “wow, he was defined in life not by family or other more notable achievements, but rather a college football team that he didn’t even ever play for?” Pathetic, right?

You can't expect the BR media to do its job. they are fat slobs and if LSU threatens to ban them from catering for questioning the hiring of O or E.

we still have to wait and see what happens. We haven't even played the game yet. Auburn is still a week away. Most everyone was saying this same thing before the Miami game and we went out and beat the crap out of them. Just chill out for now.

I have a feeling you’ll say the same thing after this week...
And then the next week...
And the next...
And then the next week...
And the next...

Think about this...Miles was fired for issues with his offense. And yet Alleva and the BOS hired a journeyman DL coach to fix the offense. That’s just dumb.
And now the journeyman DL has promoted the TE coach to OC and we now have the 112th ranked offense.

Yep. BR MEDIA ARE COWARDS. ALWAYS HVE BEEN

Most everyone knew O wasn't a good head coach but are clinging to the possibility of him recruiting well and being able to put together a good staff to carry him. Aranda was a gift and no sign of improvement from what he already had but it's hard for me to throw in the towel until he starts losing. You feel it's coming but until you see it...it's all speculation.

Damn.
It’s like none of y’all suffered through Curly Hallman.
You don’t even fricking know what bad is.
