Most likely scenario is Slive went to the Cotton Bowl and they said to frick off. So they went to the Cap One and they caved. UGA will travel and JFF still might not win the Heisman.

What makes you think that Alleva had anything to do with this....if indeed it does happen? More likely is that UGA's AD stuck up for them and got them into the Cap One. Cotton Bowl doesn't really want A&M because of bad blood between them and the Big 12, and A&M has been to the CB a zillion times.

Well, this board was full of well informed "fans" blaming him if it didn't, but that usually only works one way with LSU "fans".

Great at placing blame, but can't quite figure out how the successful outcomes happen!

"Luck" as usual, I'm sure.

Ralph D. Russo ?@ralphDrussoAP Apparently Georgia to Cap One. Last night it was Cotton. I wish the SEC would let some East teams in that Bowl. LSU to Cotton

So its official now?

Not official, but everything points toward LSU cotton... We went from getting the shaft to best case scenario

Well I just saw this:
quote:

Chuck Carlton ?@ChuckCarltonDMN If NIU cracks the BCS Top 16 and if Georgia is SEC rep in Capital One, Cotton Bowl could get its dream matchup of Oklahoma-Texas A&M.

So we should hope NIU doesn't get a BCS bid?

That is, of course, if NIU gets in the top 16

Why wouldn't the Cotton Bowl grab A&M if Oklahoma gets dropped out of the BCS to the Cotton? I thought it was just bad blood with Texas, not the whole Big 12. Maybe NIU's final ranking is what's holding everything up.

^ To echo Cap Crunch, I guess.

What is WAFB reporting? That's all that matters.

Cotton doesn't want basically a nonrivalry big12 game

That is nowhere close to their "dream" matchup

LSU would definitely get the shaft on that. Assuming that happened, we would play Clemson in the Chicken bowl...correct?

I had heard that A&M was lobbying against playing any Big 12 team in a bowl game.

You forgot to mention shitty stadium in a shitty part of Orlando.

Funny thing is....the site of the Orange Bowl and the BCSNC game (Miami Gardens) is in an even shittier part of Miami and nobody ever mentions that.

The projected 2012 crime data is as follows: 253 reported cases of aggravated assault, 0 reported cases of arson, 1,760 reported cases of burglary, 6 cases reported of forcible rape, 3,535 cases reported of larceny and theft, 489 cases report of motor vehicle theft, 30 reported cases of murder and manslaughter and 357 reported cases of robbery

What becomes of Texas if Northern Illinois goes to the Orange Bowl and puts us playing Oklahoma in the Cotton?
