I'm talking about LSU's matchup.
The chick-fil-a bowl is usually a pretty solid game, should be again this year..just not digging the politics behind it.

At least LSU-OU would be a monster non-BCS game, a&m is too associated with being a middle of the pack team and has been playing OU in the bIg 12 every year to give the CottonBowl the glitz and glam LSU-OU would have.

This is my biggest issue. Why didn't Slive step in to keep LSU from going to the SEC #5 bowl like he did for UGA and the SEC #2 bowl?

My bowl streak is over, frick Atlanta, no way I'm spending NYE in that shite hole again. I was there for Miami and GT and every SEC title, no thanks

The game is indoors. Secondly, I don't think LSU has ever lost a Peach Bowl game. The first one was back in 1968 ... outdoors at Grant Field. Rainy and cold. Mac against former Dietzel assistant, Bill Peterson.
1996 (Clemson), 2000 (Ga. Tech), and 2008 (Ga. Tech) were wins.
Like everyone else has written, Dallas made much more sense. I'm getting more than a little tired of this "Johnny Football" nonsense. Tiger fans and players need to remember this bowl mess when Mr. Football comes to Tiger Stadium.
