Good win but so many stupid fouls and missed so many shots from 3 feet. Reese needs to set her feet instead of throwing the ball up against the backboard or nothing at all. Good win on the road. Nice foul shot game. They needed it.
Not ready for SC.

Well, SC is the best, but LSU is 23-0 (in Mulkey's 2nd year) which is extremely hard to do against anyone. You can't ask for more than that. It will be a good measuring stick for them either way against SC since LSU hasn't played top-notch teams with their schedule.

I’m pretty sure LSU fans start more sentences that begin “good win BUT…” than any other fan base.

People need to be realistic, even with LSU's best game possible, getting a win on the road against the #1 team in the country that returned their entire team from last years national title squad and with more depth, is still not likely. I am just hoping they play hard and can be competitive.

This team is running on fumes right now and finally have a break to regroup.

They do need to iron out the third guard spot position. Carson has given LSU nothing lately. Poole and Poa play their roles well but we still need more scoring production from that spot

As ugly as its been, 11-0 in SEC is a big accomplishment. Just regroup and get better down the stretch.

Practice at 3:00 tomorrow, show up and tell Kim what they need to do to win some games. No doubt they will appreciate your input.

Yeah, Kim is very laid back, patient, and so open to fresh ideas! I wouldn’t expect any missiles hurled back at one!

Didn’t we play them on the road last year in a very close game? Our team is better this year. Let’s see what happens. Plus SC has an extra game this week that we don’t have

They need to get back to basics all week
They look sloppy
Playing the games they’ve played in that time frame is a lot and women’s hoops has gotten a lot more physical these days

Hey man the key word is WINNING.Its a aarathon not a sprint.Kim is preparing her team for the NCAAs,thats the long term goal. Its good that they are getting challenged
now, this is when Kim is at her best.I can garantee you that
she will downplay this coming SC game and look to beat them
in march not Feb.

SC will be tough. Remember, though LSU was ahead in that game at one point last year by 11. SC came back but LSU surely has a chance. Got to click on all cylinders. I do agree with everyone here that the team looks exhausted. Coaches too

That's called women's basketball. As bad as you might think LSU is doing it, it could be a whole lot worse.

+20/20 game. She's not the one to complain about.

Needed it for what? To finish top 3 in the SEC? To make the tournament? What did they "need" it for?

I love what Mulkey is doing & the future is very bright. That said, we aren't at UCSe's level. We will be soon tough.

Its a long year

The #2 Stanford team just lost to a 12-9 Washington team on the road just minutes ago. They were also very close to getting upset at home by Oregon St the other week.

LSU isn't the only one laboring right now

It’s hard to win 23 straight looking amazing. Honestly, losing one might be good for the team.
