If you’re a Trump supporter this is the most comically ironic line ever

LSU has chosen to be political, not us. Frick going to a game.

No LSU choose to require a vaccine against a deadly virus to gather in large crowds.

YOU and others like you choose to make that political.

Proof of vaccine maybe new to attend a FB game but it was required to go to school at LSU and anywhere in the civilized world for quite some time.

Vaccines are one of the great accomplishments of the Western/ Civilization the last 100 years. I fear the old adage about those who forget history are doomed to repeat it is true. Diseases that were once common place causes of death up until the 2nd half of the 20th century we’re all but eradicated thanks to vaccines but suddenly some of you think it’s some “socialist plot” just because the POTUS and Gov are on the “blue team”

Not really. Season tickets have already been sold. Losing out on concession sales

Talking to a guy today involved with beer sales. Said the stadium bought 70 pallets of beer for the first game. The company called to take their second order and the stadium said they were good. They didn’t need any more.

At the time the policy was adopted, La. had the highest infection rate in the country, and one of the highest in the world.
It was a medically responsible action.
You guys tried to make it political.

Pre check guys actually looked to see if kit was a valid Covid card, but didn’t ask for an id or anything to confirm it was yours.

And our infections and hospitalizations have plummeted so the restrictions/requirements should be removed right?

If you let a token political policy stop you from doing what you want you have already lost…

If they were actually enforcing it that might be different. The truth here is there are no checkpoints

And I’ll stay away as long as unvaccinated people keep getting in and flaunting it. Interesting that two ends of the scientific spectrum are staying away.

A lot of you are forgetting that a good portion of the LSU fans who live in the Southeast quarter of Louisiana, including New Oleans, are in the mist of trying to rebuild their lives after experiencing Hurricane Ida. Attending an LSU football game is not at the top of their list at this time.

It truly is a combination of 4 things
Hurricane
Team performance
Opponents
Covid requirements

All have played significant roles.

If you're vaccinated, what are you worried about?

It depends on what is most important to you. LSU football or personal freedom. Just because you either agree with the policy or personal freedom is not as important, doesn't mean that you are more enlightened than others.

I was at the game. Most dead I’ve ever seen campus. Looked like a ghost town.
